FS: 1.01 Carat Princess Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring Up for sale is a 1.01 Carat Princess Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring that was purchased in November of '06. It was worn for approximately 6 months and then was placed in safe storage except for removal every 6 months for inspection by Rogers and Hollands. Here are some facts about the diamond.

Square Modified Brilliant
5.58 x 5.55 x 3.87 mm
Carat Weight: 1.01 carat
Color: H
Clarity: SI2
Total Depth: 69.7%
Table Size: 75%
Girdle Thin to Thick
Cullet: None
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Fair
Fluorescence: None
(This isn't the easiest thing to photograph so excuse the so-so pictures)

As I typed above it was inspected every 6 months since purchase which was on 11/17/06: http://www.muir13.com/Ring/Inspect.pdf
The above shows the inspection dates and a 'receipt' of the purchase including Retail price of the diamond which was $4599.00 and selling price of $4215.00. The Platinum Band was another $1,000 and change and is about a size 6.
I am getting to the point where it is time to unload this burden and move on to better times in my life. (Yes, new serious girlfriend) I know I am going to take a serious hit on this, jewelery is a terrible "investment" so if you or anyone is interested let me know and hopefully we can work something out.
And because I know everyone needs a starting point... I originally paid somewhere north of $5500, sorry I don't have the exact figure anymore! I am looking for $3500 or best offer! I am willing to separate if preferred.
