Sony VAIO PCG-431L Ultra-Portable Laptop Computer

This laptop meets/exceeds the hardware/software requirements for PCM tuning with HP Tuners and/or LS1Edit or the like. The compact size makes it IDEAL for the task.

This laptop is used but in great condition considering it's age. All functionality of the laptop is operating the same as day one. The laptop is being sold as is; please see all pictures and specifications below. All software that originally shipped installed on the laptop is what is currently installed.

  • Sony VAIO PCG-431L laptop computer
  • A/C adapter
  • Standard Li-ion rechargeable battery pack (PCGA-BP2S) which holds a charge (Runtime is dependent on tasks being executed)

  • External VGA adapter dongle (To use the laptop with an external display source)

It depends on your definition of "usually." If you're sitting there watching movies, it's going to be shorter than if you were surfing the net. I am not guaranteeing the life but... I have seen 1-3 hours out of the normal battery and 2-4 hours out of the extended battery. Thanks for your question!

It does not have an optical drive (CD/DVD). In the past I have ripped DVDs using various tools and then loaded them on the laptop either over the network or from a thumb drive. This helps the laptop with a longer battery life.

If you were to use something like this connected to the laptop, you could certainly play/read DVDs.
