just wondering... is there any interest in a 86 kx500?
the previous owner painted it black
it got rebuilt last summer with a 87 crank assembly new crank bearings, output shaft bearings, waterpump bearings, new spurgear, new piston and ring. 87 jug and head and has a procircuit headpipe.
now for the bad.
no first gear. im not sure wtf happened to it. so i just rode it in 2nd-5th
timing might be off a little or not jetted right. fouls plugs constantly
no radiator shrouds and the radiators are bent but still flow good. doesnt overheat.
needs a new clutch hub
needs a new side cover...it broke and was JB welded back together and leaks oil
rear fender broke and ws "sewn" back together with wire.
like stated above it was painted black
if i think of anything else i will edit the post.
if there is any interest i will post pics.
$500 will consider all offers and trades. i really hate to see it go but im moving again and i cant take it with me in the trans am
