what do you guys think about this scoop idea on the stock hood or should I go with my cowl induction hood? Obviously it will look better when its done. I kind of wanted to pay homage to the 1998 to 2002 LS series cars, and not look like every other 1969 Camaro. I am going to put LSX badges on the outer fenders up front were it used to have 350 badges.

My vote is for cowl hood. Never thought that stinger looked right on older muscle cars for some reason.

Thanks Mike haha. It's been feeling like all the 6spd 4th gen guys that drag race have gotten few and far between, but then the planet's aligned last weekend and saw two in one day lol go figure. This transmissions been holding together pretty good since we got it back from Texas Drivetrain Performance, but if we run into some issues I'll be sure to make myself heard haha.

Yeah I hear ya about 6sp's at the track. I'm guilty of being absent from that scene. Maybe next year I can make a come back tour haha... Good deal about your trans. Jason at TDP does great work so you should be good.

Person I picked it up from just said 98-02. Not sure if there is info on the box to identify it, it's something I haven't looked into.

Default Checkin in

Hey guy's I've been lurking here on tech for a little bit and figured I would check in with the locals.
I just recently moved to Oregon city from Portland so now I'll be splitting time between Wordburn Dragstrip and PIR.
I have an 05 GTO H/C/I manual car that i'll be beating on...I wanted to make a few passes against 4genpheonix but I broke before we had the chance. I didn't have enough for him that day anyway
