Chash for clunkers.
I was thinking about doing the cash for clunkers. I got a 93 T/A 5.7. Its in ok shape. Not a ding and it runs. Since my third car just got tottalled I found myself in need of a daily driver. The T/A is too much gas plus I need a family car too. I was interested in trading in the car. But as soon as I heard
what they do to these vehicles, I changed my mind. Why would they want to throw her away? She still runs strong. I dont have the heart to let my T/A go out like that.

Even after further discussion, i still dont want to clunker it. I was almost sold on a new silverado. But then thinking about the girls and adventures I've had in that car, I think someone else should continue my legacy.

The local car lots here put them all in one area and rope them off for all to see. It's a shame to see all the good vehicles they are wasting. If you really want a new vehicle offer your car up for trade for a real clunker and some cash. Then they can just crush an old beatup pickup or something.
