Talk to TJ of Wong's performance, he has a machine shop that does all his work, TJ is a perfectionist so they have to be good.

I've always used Bearing Service and the shop that's part of Baxter Auto Parts in Delta Park. But that's due to budget restraints.

Default thanks for info...

Thanks for your info, I live near White Salmon, just north across the river from hood river. I am building an 4x4 race rig for the pacific northwest 4 wheel drive races. Basically dirt track "jeep" but only thing jeep is the body. I have dismanted a 03 6.0 truck engine and have pretty much all the stock LS2 components.....243 heads, rotating assembly, timing cover etc...

I've used Somers Automotive Machine here in Vancouver for years and they do top notch work. They'll be handling my engine bore and balancing, in the next week or two. With an in-house engine dyno and a Superflow 600 flowbench they can handle any/all engine machine work.

Tabors Machine here in Vancouver also has a decent reputation, and is the shop that TJ Wong uses most of the time.

I use Tabors (just dropped parts off yesterday). Depending on what work is needed, Wong uses many different shops (Tabors, Somers, Bearing Service, etc.)

For all my LS builds I have been using Bearing Service. They have done stock builds for Land Cruisers, to high power forced induction LS7s for me. Old school big and small blocks I use both Bearing Service and Tabors depending on the customers budget. Bearing Service has been in business for over 50 years. My machinists grandfather built my first BB Chrysler race engines, then his son Gene and now Genes son Brian is building my customers LS engines. Tabor does good work and is very reasonable and a great guy to deal with.
