What's going on guys? Just got stationed here at Ft. Lewis, WA. Hate the rain... So is there a big car scene here? I've seen a lot of nice cars rolling around post here and in the olympia area where I live. Just looking to meet up with some cool guys and make some new friends. I dont know anyone up here.

Is there a race track close to olympia? I did some research and found a "pacific raceways" about 45 minutes away but it didn't say if it was 1/4, dirt or what kind of track it was.

Pacific is a 1/4 mile track. lots of big guys run there.

Pacific doesn't have there schedule out yet. In July they have a NHRA national event going on (Force, Dixon, Schumaker, Bernstein, etc.) great to watch. Pacific is also a road coarse and has various road racing events too. Also about 45 minutes from you is Bremerton Raceway. Not sure what there schedule is but I believe it is out. Both tracks are 1/4 mile. There is also a 1/8 mile track in Shelton, but not sure what is up with it. PIR (Portland International Raceway) is about 1 hr 15 min south and run 1/8 mile on Wednesday nights, and 1/4 on Friday and Saturday nights.

Road course! Awesome. I've always wanted to do a road course. Back home all we had was a 1000ft track and it was 2 hours from my house.
