Default Brandons Viper Spec T56

I'm building a Level 4 Viper spec T56 for Brandon's TA. I thought you guys might like to see the difference between the stock 27 spline mainshaft compared to a 30 spline Viper shaft modified for the Fbody T56. I'm kind of at a stand still on this build until I get the modified tailhousing back from the machine shop next week. Enjoy the pics.....

The stock 27 spline shaft is on the left, Viper shaft on the right.

Stock trans yoke on the left, Viper unit on the right.

Well I will be doing another 408 because my crank is still good. I am going to go with some l92 heads and an l76 intake just because of how cheap they are and how much power you can make. Not sure on the cam yet. Somewhere in there will be a small trubo also. Like a gt47-88, something small like that because I don't want to make to much power

nope no one wants too much power lol.

as you all know my car is waaaay back on the burner right now, however ive decided once i start makin money again im probly gonna ditch the tsunami go with a large boost cam and run a turbo with 10 lbs or so. im sick of this big cam thing. but that will probly be about a year from now, the SS is my last priority right now.

Yes,,,,,, yes it will. This will able to handle anything you can throw at it with that setup. Now the rest of your drivetrain,,,,, might wanna upgrade your driveshaft if you haven't already.

The Viper mainshaft needed to be machined down to proper length. After he machined it, he was asking me what material the Viper shaft was made from. He said he'd never worked with anything that tough before lol...

I am thinking my goal is about 750ish hopefully I won't have to go to crazy into the fuel system because that get's expensive fast. My Piston's finally were shipped today and the last part is a cam which I am emailing comp about and going to see what they suggest.

Finally charged my video camera from last year at PIR and the last video that I had taken on it was of you racing just before the battery died completely. That trans is impressive, good work Mike, love how clean you always have things set out.

It was one of your first runs that night, I actually was filming one more of you when it completely died and it did not save it, wish it would have cause on that run you had a good launch and it would have been sweet on film cause I was at a better angle for it. I would have to look to see the time but I believe it was a low 12. I don't have my camera at my house as I left it at my parents but I can try to get it and post it for you if you want.

Thanks man. I try to keep a nice clean/tidy work area no matter what I'm working on.
