Default Airstrip Racing video

Had a good time at Racewars near Royal City. I've never gone down before but I'm glad I did. Tons of people and cars; drag cars, street cars, drag diesel trucks, sand rail, bikes and a ton of turbo'd hondas. Funny thing they ran tons of cars and not one slow down. No one oiled the track and not a single wreck, things went so smooth it was a blast. No worrying about being kicked off the track, no rules just run what ya brung. Not to mention everyone was cool as hell.

Click the link and watch in 1080.

Thanks guys, you need to go next year! We have a dyno day coming up saturday so I will let you know what it makes. I made 580 rwhp (550 uncorrect) with my turbonectics 76 @ 7lbs 17 degrees of timing and 4" open cutout. I'm running a precision 76 now on 8lbs but going through my slp dual dual with 13-15 degrees of timing. I would guess the cutout is worth a solid 30 hp and my car was really rich (10.5 afr) at this event the air sucked (90 degrees out). With the timing and cutout closed with 8lbs I'd say 550 rwhp.

Edit: My car is so quiet you can't really hear it over any of the imports or drag cars. The only time you can really hear it is when I ran the turd Challenger lol

Wooossshhhh airplane car lol. Thanks tmoney, you should hear it with open cutout the turbo sings! Yes it's a KYTP hotside designed for a TC76 but the PTE 76GTS barely fits in there with a couple mods. My car is a meth addict too

Well it's a really long story on the whole turbo kit. I paid for a complete used kytp turbo kit, exhaust, meth and fuel system. Guy was a pro scammer and luckly I got the hotside and meth stuff, had to get it out of Fed Ex national security because he stole a credit card and tried to ship it over night. I had to piece a lot of things together over about a 6-8 month period as I worked on the car and built parts for it. I don't really know how much money I have in it but I know I have way too much time in tweaking **** to make it all work. I've changed wastegates, turbos, injectors, fans, coils, lots of plugs, wires, valve springs, rear end gears, exhaust, clutch and god knows what else. Thank god I do all my own tuning and work. I drive my car alot too, I put 5000 miles on it already this year since I've had the turbo kit up and runing.

How do I find out when these events are scheduled? This is what we do in Montana & my car is set up exactly for this type of no track prep bare pavement racing. I love it.
Never heard of this event before thanks for posting. I want to make it out to every one these races if possible.

I'm in Spokane, I only saw one fox body out there and it was white. They have these races once or twice a year in Royal City, it doesn't seem real clear as to when the events are posted. I found out most of the info by calling the phone # on this site http://www.dtpracingclub.com/

Thanks, I'll try to make it out there as long as it doesn't conflict with local stuff.

I'll trailer it though, I had one of my skinnies peel like an orange several hundred miles away at a race last year. What a long night it turned into.

Haha well you got the important stuff done first! Paint and body work is the easy part. I was lucky enough to score such a straight and clean T/A. I've done things the opposite, apperance and then power adders. At the moment, I'm gathering up some $$$ for a heads swap, injectors, lifters etc etc My goal is to have a streetable 460+rwh driver with awesome power under the curve.

Ya thats what I said when I saw the results. The toque isn't correct it's actually around 720 rwtq, because there tach signal was off 1000 rpm or so. It made 717 hp @ 6100 and 720 tq @ 4700. This was 12.5 lbs @ peak torque and 11.5 lbs @ peak hp. I'm putting the 7.5 lb wastegate spring back in since it hasn't blow up yet.
