well i got a little bored on thursday of last week, and decided i was gonna go ahead and do a head / cam swap on the ol' LTjuan 3rd gen this weekend! soooo i spent a few hours on thursday on the phone with EPW (engine performance warehouse) gathering part numbers and parts for the swap. i figured i'd do it slow, and have a few weeks in it, and play around with stuff. then friday cam along, and i was in DO WORK mode and i tore into it after work, put in about 2 hours on it. then i worked on it saturday from 8am-4pm and got pretty far on it, and realzed that i could realistically drive it again sunday! so i came in ready to hammer down this morning, put in another 8 hours, and drove it home around 5pm today!

i put in;
224/230 .503/.510 112LSA comp cam
ARP rocker arm studs
ARP head bolts
milled the heads slightly...
just a mild cam, totally streetable! runs and idles and drives fine on the stock tune for now. had fun doing it, and it's all running a driving again before monday for work!
all in all i'm pretty stoked.

Looks good, and SO much room to work! Now try doing that in a 4th gen engine compartment.... lol. My first LT1 cam swap, my hands looked like I just got through fighting with a pissed off cat for a couple hours.
That cam profile has been around forever!
