Default 5.3l to 383

I am looking at a 5.3l that has been bored and stroked to a 383. It has Mahle Forged Flat Top 3.905" Pistons (11.0:1 Compression Ratio) Eagle Billet 4" Stroker Crank and Eagle Billet Connecting rods. What do you guys think of this bottom end? Has 243 heads and eps cam.

Boring out the 5.3 that much is somewhat spendy. It can be done but I think there are better combo's for less money IMO. I'd do a 6.0 block bored out to a 4.065" with forged rods/pistons before I'd go that 383 route. That combo would also open up a lot more cylinder head choices since you'd no longer be held back by a 3.9XX" bore size.
