My son made it with his simple S10. 12.20's as usual.

The twin turbo 5.3 70 Chev PU I tuned made it too. 9.50 @ 142

That's pretty cool o really wanted to go but laid some sod instead, home fully I can make it soon. What are details on that truck? Do you have your 5.3l back from machine shop?

I need to give the owner of the truck, Billy, credit for taking it from where we left off to where it is now. Early runs showed very high IAT's, so he upgraded the IC.
This allowed him to turn up the boost. IAT,s dropped 60 degrees.

It's a forged iron 5.3. Stock heads, truck intake. Turbo kit is from CX racing. Small cam from Texas speed.

My engine builder has had some health issues. So I'm unsure when I'll see my 5.3 back.....

When are you going to test it out at PIR? Ron I'm going to be experimenting with Meth injection on the GTO so I might need some help getting it dialed in a couple of weeks.

I ran Sat night.
The meth will cause a richer mixture. But I'd think you could use a really small nozzle since you aren't boosted.
I can come help when you want to try it.

Looking to buy one. Any issues with the AEM or innovate widebands and hp tuners?
I have small nozzles for the meth and maf based controller . Im really just looking to control iat timing retard so spaying mostly water might get the job done or am I way off?
