Default Recommendation for a weld shop in Kent area

Need to have my BMR SFC's installed. I would like the job done right by a shop that has done these before for someone else with a good referral.

Tks in advance!

I live about 2 blocks north of the Kent city limits, and I haven't seen nor heard of a decent shop in these parts for our cars...

That's why I drive up to the Everett area for work if I need something done, or I do it in the garage myself... lack of quality shops in the south end that don't charge an arm and a leg.

Since I lack the knowledge and the equipment for welding these in... I need to take them somewhere. Do you have a recommendation?

I'd PM Ellis (TwoFast4Lv) and ask him for some recommendations of shops to do a little welding for you at a reasonable price. That'd be who I'd ask first, since he's bound to know a couple of good places.

You can also call Shaun at S&M Auto, but I'm not sure if they do actual welding there... never asked. The number is 425-252-2322, just ask for Shaun.

This is exactly why I always recommend bolt in SFC's. You can install them yourself and, if you decide to, get them welded in later cheaper. They also tend to fit better right out of the box making the welding easier.

I wish you luck with the shop hunt.

Yes, I agree. Thought I ordered bolt-ons, but did not do the research correctly. Put the car up this weekend to bolt-them-in and figured it out pretty darn quick. Bummer.

I didn't want to speak for ya... But I figured you'd know a nice place in Monroe that had cars lining up to get in, so that's why I recommended he ask you.
