Those do look nice! New lifters & rockers are definitely on the plate when I buy heads... might as well replace it all at that point.

They are the best that's for sure. My stockers are going to have to do for awhile longer though

Oh well. Could not order from thunder anyways. they are hell for deliverys now!

I hear ya on that big dog! But with these lifters & MSD coils & some other goodies that are starting to come out, a stroker is lookin better all the time!!!

My next motor won't be a stroker. Just a 427 SBC reverse cooled A-la LT1

So you don't consider a 427 SBC a stroker eh? I must need to readjust my vocabulary....anyway, I'm still thinking about that 455.

I was thinking a bigger number cut some fenderwell here trim a little firewall..................yhea a 706 big chief would look good

I am tring to keep my Sleeper reputaion

Well I AM going to use real 427 stroke and bore so it is stock right? A Nice little Bowtie block. Four inch stroke and 4.125 bore. Baby solid roller cam , say 266/278 with .750 lift. Some small 380CFM 18* brodix heads all topped with an under the cowl sheet metal intake. When I get excited I will push the "Go Go Baby" button for an extra 250 of spray.

I am hoping it will run solid 11s if I ever finish it

Just your average every day 427 right Jason?
