Default Ryan's New Toy

I made the mounts up today for my 31X12X4 OBX intercooler. Man that thing is huge....

Now All I need to do is finish plumbing the Meth injection.

Ryan, how do you run the piping for the IC?

That's an interesting look Ryan. Don't think you'd win many car show tho!

So you had to build a new frame to mount the nose on? Impressive!

The passenger side piping should be pretty easy, I just need a 90 degree bend and a straight pipe to get it into the intercooler. There is already a joint there to make it easy.

The drivers side is going to be a pain but it'll all work out. The dirvers side it going to make me move the Bypass valve and associated plumbing.

You amaze me with the things you do. I would not mind having that IC.

Wait a minute. Are there two intercoolers in there? One has vertical tubes and the other horizontal. Do you plumb from the turbo to the rear i/c first, then get a second pass through the front i/c to get additional cooling? or are they mounted in parallel?

I like your tranny cooler setup too....fan....cool.

Oh, and some guy with an STS on his 04 GTO just installed meth inj & cranked off a 10.68 @129. Not too shabby for a 14 sec, 95mph car.

No, once I get the new intrercooler all setup, the old one goes away...

Have any plans on where that old IC is going? I think I can find a home for it in my camaro. I just picked up a procharger and am thinking about adding an intercooler. Shoot me an e-mail, n_mcgrew@hotmail.com
