Default I bought Todd's Hoosiers/ ??

Would I be able to run these down the highway doing like 50 mph from Mountlake Terrace to Monroe? I've been told NOT really. I'm looking for more opinions. They are the Hoosier 26x9.5 16 QTP with tubes.

I like to spray wax the T/A before I race not change the tires and all that.

Opinions please.......I wonder what Ellis would say

Inflate them to 30psi & DO NOT drive in the rain & you should be good. Sardog ran his Hoosiers on the street. And Don B runs his ET Streets.....

I would just do changes at the track. Hiway use kills them fast

I run my Hoosier QTP's 60mph down the road to Bremerton, of course it's only 15-20 min away tho...but I've had no problems...I wouldn't drive them much farther than that I wouldn't think.

Thanks for all of the replies. It sounds like they would last longer if I use them at the track only, and the way I have been buying tires that's a good tip.

Oh yeah... I don't drive at all on the street with those, just track use. My ET Streets are making it great through their 2nd season of use, and still look like they got a ton of life left.
