Talking Some New Bests Again Tonight

Well I got a new best, and I know Rey also got a new best. I am sure there are others also, track was pretty good tonight.

Here's my new best 1.531 60'er and 11.042 @ 126.18 mph, ya hooo.
I was warned, but did not get the boot, I said I wouldn't run my 2nd stage again, so later I got a 1.649 60'er and 11.507 @ 122.12 mph, whew no boot still.
So, do I get to add my new best to the NW top ten list? Most say it was legal run because I didn't get the boot.

As usual, lots of great people, and a great time was had by all, except the guy in the GTO who hit the right wall then bounced over and hit left wall.

nothing on the track, the driver is handicapped and has the hand controls. From what I found out from the people that saw it, he got sideways and never let out of it. Hit the wall the bounced across the track and hit the other wall.

So he had to sit there in his wheelchair the rest of the night and wait and watch everybody else run. All the while having to look at his wrecked car the whole time too. I felt so bad for the guy.

It wasn't his first time at the track either.

And...............I watched that run from right behind ya Robert. You hooked and booked on that one. I knew it was a good run, but I about **** when I saw the 11.04 displayed. And almost running under an 11.50 the next time on the first stage.....whoeee, you had a good night. Better buy a lotto ticket tomorrow.

Congrats Robert!!!

Would have loved to been there even to watch, but still wrenching on my car, trying like hell to have it ready for track days next week in Spokane.

I will definately attend next season when car sorted out and have you give this newbie a few pointers

Thanks, with your motor, I don't think to many pointers will be needed. Ryan, by the way, did pretty good, made progressively faster passes all night. Good luck on getting to Spokane.

Thanks, you going to bring your Z06 out Wed to Pacific? You can try my tires if ya want, as I am going to try and finish them off before the seasons over. It's amazing, I think I have about 95+ passes on them (last slip count was 85), and street miles, then they hook for a 1.53? There was a post on corvetteforum that it was only rumors that these tires hit the 1.5xs, and no one could prove they had, on that thread?

I think I got the spot covered, as it states if you get the boot it's not a legal run, and I didn't get the boot. Also, didn't Ryan K have a 11.4x without a bar?
Robert
