Default A question for Ellis (or anyone else with trans. knowlege)

Can clutch pedal position be adjusted so that it starts to grab lower off the floor? I drove a friend's VW and it would grab 1/3 on the way up when taking off. Mine does not start to grab until 2/3 - 3/4 up, this makes it hard to take off smoothly.

The car is still under warranty, btw, so I can go bitch at GM service rep, I just like to know if this is something that can be fixed easily.

Thanks in advance

There is no real adjustment per say. It is a self calibrating Hydralic assembly

lost me right there at "calibrating" Do you think it's a sign of a problem (pedal having a lot of travel before any action) or pretty normal on these cars?
