Well the Camaro was sold today....
Good news is that I sold it to a friend that works at a local parts store. He will probably join the boards soon. His neighbor has a WS6 that is pretty modded (over 400 rwhp i think) but I don't think he comes on here. His name is Casey. Hopefully they will both get on here.
I may be buying a LS6 shortly! Forged internal motor that just put down 440 rwhp/386 rwtq. He is selling due to certain new purchase! So what am I gonna do with it? Hopefully buy this...unless someone knows where I can get a good 70 Chevelle project for cheap.

Hopefully I can get it for like $1800.
Plans:
LS6/4L60E
Has the 70 front clip so I just need a 70 rear bumper
Make it an SS clone but have those metal LS1 badges (Z06 style)
Forest green w/ white stripes (maybe a little pearl in the white)
Wilwood discs on all 4 corners.
Good suspension (maybe AirRide)
Autometers behind the SS dash
17" Torq Thrust II's
And maybe a little NOS since it is a forged shortblock!

You sold your Camaro to Brian? I haven't seen it sitting on the street yet. I bet he likes it a lot more than his '92 Z28.
Good luck on the Chevelle deal.
I've been on the boards for quite a while, just can't spend a lot of time on here. I check things out every once and a while though.
Bring the Chevelle by when you get it. I used to have a 69 once upon a time.

Good to see you on here! He has it right now. His car is actually sitting here right now. Its funny b/c I may end up w/ that car and I pulled the original motor out of it when the guy before him owned it.

Well it sounds like the only rust is on the lower parts behind the wheels. None around the window trim where they usually have rust. My first car was a 70 clone so I'll scan some old pics.

Brian called on Sunday evening. My wife, son and I stopped by on the way home from dinner to check it out. Brian was looking pretty happy. I asked him if it was any faster than his old one (thought it was a 92 but he said an 87 or 88). He got a big smile on his face.
Nice to have two LS1's on the block.
