Passed Emissions today
Passed Emissions today with my 2000 Camaro.
The tester did ask does this car have a wild cam? A wild cam no, no it's all GM I replied.

ok so how big cam you go and still be fine to pass? ive been told u cant go much bigger then 224-224 114 what about a 224-228 112?
You can get a 230's-ish cam to pass down to about 112°....just takes a bit of tweaking.

I agree. If all else fails, pull an injector.

it's a lil easier with OBD-II isn't it? no codes = pass? or am I gonna have to do somethin else if I start modding more. (cam etc.)

Good thread here.
I'm probably going to be throwing in a Cartek 2X cam in the spring 224/228 on a 113 and we've got a roller dyno for the sniffer up here. Serious stuff, I'm not sure how it compares to Cali but I think it's relatively close.
I wish we had the OBD-II test. That would rock since I have HPTuners...
I've heard the same as far as tricks go, bump the idle to about 100 rpm under the limit, lean it out, add methanol to the gas, make sure the CATS are good and hot. Would adding or removing timing help?
