Russ

JJKJ gave me the best run of any of the 5 GTO's I've run so far.

I'm on left John on right

.151 RT .445
2.180 60' 2.146
5.759 330 5.774
8.662 1/8 8.726
85.43 MPH 83.84
11.153 1000 11.238
13.252 1/4 13.359
107.71 MPH 106.36

Left 1st .4012
as far as mods:
mine has a Borla Cat back, and a N&N filter (probably why I have that extra mph trap)
John's has 18" wheels with 285 tires (added weight should help with wheel spin/hop)

4) Car must be active. If the car has not made the pass in the previous year it is not eligible for the list.

Doesn't that mean all 2005 times are still good for 06?

I interpret it like this, if you haven't made a pass in the previous year you won't be able to be put on this years list, that is if your even fast enough to be on this years list! For example; if your ran a 10 this year and didn't run at all last year, you wouldn't be eligeble for the list this year.

I may be wrong, but that's how I read it......

I don't think that's how it is, that would mean you have to race for 2 seasons to even have the chance to get on the list.

I think it means that you can't run an 8 second pass in 02, have your engine blow up, and keep the top spot for years to come.. Just a way to keep the top 10 spots have recent time slips.

Thats kinda what I was thinking, but who knows........

Having a new list every year would make the most sense to me. That way you have new guys to beat with new times and don't have the same time from last year in your way or sticking around with all the new times coming from the new season.
