Let's see how good your eyes are... there's something visibly wrong with the car in these pics, and NO it's not that it's purple. There's a problem that needs to be corrected.

Let's see if you can spot it..

Ding ding ding ding ding!! We have a winner.

Someone asked me why the driver's taillight looked funny in my pics last night, and sure enough, I pulled it off and it had a crapload of water in the bottom.

No idea how long it's been there, but I can see from my pictures that it was like that before I bought it.

Question is... how does a tail light get that much water inside it?

My taillight gets water in it also, same side, it hasn't filled up like that, but it is growing moss (turning green inside) The seal around the top is bad that's how the water gets in mine..when I wash it I spray around the top and can see the water going in. I have replacement taillights, but just haven't put them on yet..

just take them both off.. and put some more silicon around the edges

not too difficult to do
but that's (basically) the only thing holding the two pieces together.

and the only way that water can be leaking in.

Couldn't the water create a short or something? I would try to get that water thing fixed right away. That is a nice car........slow or not.

Certainly ain't good for things in there, that's for sure. I'm just curious how I never noticed it before. I imagine that **** would be sloshing around all over the place in there when I was driving.

The car has a Division 7 (California) NHRA number on it.

What's with that?

I saw it right away too. But I guess I did not win because I just now saw this thread.

All that extra water was probably adding weight and slowing down the car. No wonder you could not get good times Sunday.
