Default Stupid Stunt of the night!

Ok so I am out in the shop. Still pretty bummed over the whole AFR rev kit issue that spit a bunch of aluminum through My new engine.

I am putting Cory's parts through the washer for his Vette and slowly putting stuff back on my car. I get the whole front of the engine buttoned up and the fans back on with all the hoses hooked up. So I figure heck I will fill it with coolant.

I am filling away and deside to hook the battery up and turn on the Electric water pump. GREAT Idea! so I am topping off the radiator and every thing is going well While I am there this KICK *** arroma starts to fill the shop. not real strong but a friendly smell. I am still burpping the Coolant and pondering the smell. That Ever so sweet smell. Yeah man what is that? smell's like...Hmmmm... What is that... Wow it is the smell of race gas! Man that smells great! I have not smelled that since I was at the track filling the car with.......

OH ****!!! RACE GAS!!!

Look under the car and sure enough looks like $10 in race gas all over the floor

SO A racetronix FP will pump ALOT of gas on a 30 second prime

So I opened the doors turned every thing off. let it air out and called it a night.

Moral of the story? If the intake is off the car do NOT turn the key on!

Hard to hook those lines up when THE INTAKE IS IN TEXAS!

And Yes I can afford it. I just hate wasting things...un-less they are in the other lane

Ouch, sorry to hear about that issue, I'd be heated! Good thing you didn't burn the garage down though

Giving some hicks in an old 69 Ford pickup a jump start at the junk yard was about as exciting. The girl trying to start it was pumping the throttle, flooding it to all hell, wouldn't start up, and as you see the gas fumes rising from the engine bay, her boyfriend goes over and starts messing around with stuff in the engine, sticks his whole head down in there to get a better look. WHILE he's smokin a cigarette! Scary!

WOW!! I am surprised you did not burn the thing to the ground with the propane heater in there. Sounds like you have someone watching out for you, Ellis.
