Default Beware F13 owners....POSSIBLE Issue w/ F13s eating lifters

Just thought I'd pass it along for some of you that may be running this cam. Seems their may be an issue w/ a bad batch, but seems to be F13 is too much for stock lifters. People been experiencing problems from between 8k and 13k miles.

I did, but I posted it before many of those other posts had been posted. So from what I posted it was accurate. Now after the fact of me posting it, others are starting to hypothesize that it might be other factors involved. Either way I just figured it might be of some interests to some of the guys around here. Not looking to rain on anyone's parade, just inform.

I edited the title as POSSIBLE, but I figure it's still worth a look for those running F13 or similiar cams.

What do you think happen to this guys setup Ellis? Looks pretty jacked up.

As many have said it could be oiling or inadiquit springs for the lobe design

This is NOT the first time we have seen it and I have seen it on other manufactures

Is this a problem seen exponentially more as the cam gets bigger?

I would think the more extreme the cam you go with, while keeping lots of stock components, the more risk you run of something going wrong.

Hence my reasons for staying w/F11 under .600 lift, and this is what I feared most about a cam > 230. Even w/upgraded springs/rods.

Spoke to a couple of Tuners/Vendors today and it seems that cause of this issue, is indeed the F13 cam. It seems to be a manufactured defect. Futrual is investigating the problem further.
