Colorado officially totalled... GTO is a go.
Just thought I'd fill everyone in on how everything turned out.
I got off the phone with the insurance company this morning, and they have formally deemed my Colorado a total. Everything regarding the truck should be finalized within the next 48 hours. Looks like they're going to give me more than I expected for it, so I'm not even going to have to fight with them on the value of the truck. State Farm freaking ROCKS, I have to say.
Second... the dealer met all my terms for the GTO sale, and the consignor agreed to the purchase price, so once the Colorado deal is worked out I will officially be a GTO owner. That's all the deal is pending on right now.
Soo goodbye Colorado... hello GTO for me.

GTO, however... Payment decrease of more than $80/month... insurance is almost the same, and a gas mileage increase of 6-8 mpg. This whole deal is helping me pay off a loan, also, which drops my month expenses another $300, wouldn't have been able to do that with the Silverado.
So the GTO is a much better financial choice, IMHO.

Eventually I want to be able to tow my cars to the track, but I don't have a need to do it quite yet.. I don't even have a trailer.. and with the payment on the truck, I couldn't have afforded one anyway.
So the Silverado deal just did not make a lot of sense... where I think the GTO does.

I could buy a $1000 POS truck and accomplish that.
