Default Just finished Pro 5.0 shifter install....

All I have to say after just a test drive.... god damn that is a huge difference. I love it, would recomend to for sure. The install wasn't bad either. I managed to do it without pulling the center console completely.

I had the stock hurst shifter in my old 99 t/a...didn't care for it much, so when I got my 01 formula, I didn't even get the hurst, and the first mod was the pro 5.0

I went from the "factory" Hurst to the Pro 5.0 and was very impressed. I highly recommend it to anyone with the M6.

I have it and it's really awesome. Install the Lou Short Stick on it and it improves even more.

I have heard really good things about the B&M piece as well......although it is my understanding that you cannot use the Lou's short stick (as so many people seem to want to) on the B&M. I wasn't sold on either one particularly, but I ran across a killer deal on the Pro 5.0 so I jumped on it.

I had a B&M shifter on my old M-22 Rockcrusher in my '68 Camaro.

I've been looking for a stock shifter to go with my trans when I sell. I'll give ya 10.00 plus shipping if you want to get rid of it.

PM me if you're interested.

Ah, yeah, I heard that the new B&Ms aren't quite what the old ones were. Mine was a older version, I think it was originally bought in like 97 or so.

It is true that you can't use the Lou's short stick, though my shifter is really as short as I want it. If it were any shorter it would just take that much more effort to shift.

Well, since I don't think there is any real competition to the Lou's Short Stick, I'll give you the link and hope I don't get banned in case I'm stepping on some sponsors toes lol....?

I have one for my Hurst and LOVE it. Or should that read "Loved it" when my car used to run...
