So on Saturday the weather gods smiled on us in rain soaked Oregon and let us race. Went up to PIR to try out my new ride. It did pretty well considering the track wasn't prepped, it had been raining earlier in the day and I have less than 50% of tread left on the stock tires. Best run was my first of the night with no cool down to speak of. Ran 13.69 @103.23 w/ a godawful 2.218 60'. Track kept gettin worse or the tires got worse as the night progressed and my 60's tell the tale. Overall I'm impressed, my 94 vette with new tires and a good track prep would only go 13.68 @100. I've got rims in the garage and I'm waitin on tires to arrive. I'm looking forward to fun and hopefully faster racin season!
