Non-PC Humor (don't read Rey)
Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I
would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border
from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know
you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration
quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do
here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on
my way over Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need,
whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English (not Spanish).
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers in addition to Spanish.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag
pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access
to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort
to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from President Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak some English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my
car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any
complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and
don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and
never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on
the economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for
all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that President Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting
with your V.P.
Thank you so much for your kind help.
Sincerely,
Average Joe American

what they should have done, is when those 5000 people went to Seattle or wherever to protest or do what ever they did, they should have just taken some 18-wheelers down there, loaded them all up and shipped the F***ers back where they came from.

I like it.
Said it before and I'll say it again just in case: I am not against people migrating to America. I am against them coming here illegally and expecting to be treated as citizens, or better.

That article raises the REAL issue in my opinion. These illegal immigrants are taking over parts of our country (without firing a shot). My wife has been encouraged to learn Spanish so she can talk to all these people that live here & refuse to learn English! (and they get their health care for free!)
My ancestors had to learn the language & play by the rules when they immigrated to the US. And they WANTED to become citizens. But our politicians & businessmen seem Hell-bent on giving away what so many Americans died for. It makes me sick.....Putas!!!

My son is coming back from over a year in Phoenix (school) and worked at a restaurant.
The pay there is $3 an hour less for what he was paid here for the same job because illegal immigrants keep it low. Considering he didn't want a student loan, paying each quarter, it was obvious to go from part time to full time *and* a full load at school.
He couldn't rent an apartment unless he signed a 12 month lease with three times the amount of rent up front (1st, last, security and deposit!) told directly by the managers if it weren't for the illegals bailing, it wouldn't be that way.
He has very amusing stories about parts of Phoenix living conditions and the MinuteMen group.
The key is ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, not race

It's not that easy. My wife is Canadian and it cost us thousands of dollars, downtime from work for travel to Seattle, numerous interviews as well as written statements from family friends just to get her a permanant resident card (Green card). The problem is illegal immigrants, not responsible people who take the time and everything else that goes along with that to use the proper avenues.

We are on the same page. In the context he wrote "kickass", I took it to be derrogatory. I was stating that it is a good system and it is difficult. We need to be tougher on illegals and make them use the system. What is the point of a tough system if nobody has to use it?

This is an excellent example of the perfect BS test.
If the opposite truth is preposterous, then supposition is equally preposterous.

Another minor issue people need to consider - after we give all the illegals citizenship, it won't be long before our beloved politicians are passing laws to raise their standard of living to upper middle class. I'm already paying $3 / gal for gas, I can't afford $5 / lb for lettuce.
And you are correct NVME. My friend's wife immigrated from Canada and it was a long TOUGH process! Even tho she was married to him, both had good jobs, no criminal records, yada yada yada. It took a long time & cost them some big bucks.

you know the sad part Eric? If she was from an Asin country or Mexico there would be very little of that and they would bend over backwards to make it happen
I am not against LEGAL imigration. I AM tried of paying for the dead beats!

We will not be overcome! The fact that people are talking about this (Thanks W!) is the best thing that could happen to this country.

If they really wanted to address this issue, they should turn their focus towards the businesses that employ these people!

The guy i work with, his wife's daughter has been trying to get her, her husband, and there 3 kids back to US, they moved to ecuador(sp.) several years ago. They have went through heel trying to get passports and get the kids citezenship in the US, they were born in ecuador. She is white and I think the husband is half central american or whatever, they have been living with his parent down there.
I appoligize if I offended someone, I do not mean to do that, butI think some good points are being made in this thread. I am against ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS not legal ones, but if the legal ones cant play by our rules and cant learn to speak our language, go back wherever the heck you came from. Just my personal opinion..
