Default Dyno Tune in the northwest

I'm in Kalispell MT. In the next few months I expect to take delivery of a 06 or 07 C6 Z51 cpe., do CAI, headers, maybe intake. How far am I going to have to go to then get a good dyno tune? Your recomendations and experiences appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Dick

You can call or PM Tom Wong (tjwong = boardname). He is a very good dyno tuner in this area (Portland Metro). I don't know if he would be able to do something with the LS2 yet or not, but talk to him to find out. If you want his number send me a PM and I'll give it to you.

They opened a mustang dyno in Polson. Met the guys at the car show in CFalls the other day. Seemed to be sort of knowledgeable about LT1's. They had a procharged LT1 58 vette that they said put down 670 HP to the wheels on their dyno. I showed him my tailights on the ride home, so I don't know if they are full of BS or maybe it wasn't running right.

They are clueless about our Gen III & IV engines. I am getting better at tuning & have the set up to do it. I had to learn because no one in the Flathead knows squat about our cars.

We at groundzeromotorsports have all the HPT available to tune with. WE have been
tuning NA, Supercharged, and turbo cars and trucks for a few years now with HPT tuners with great results. We have a mustang eddy current dyno, with custom software for clutch slippage measurements etc. Ralph 503-256-3278
