Need Advice...Ellis, anyone...
Posted this in another section......
Have a 97' 30th Anv. SS convertible. Garaged during winter with battery minder, driven late spring and summer. Last drove it couple weeks ago as I been adding coats of Zaino in the garage. Went to take it out for a spin yesterday and turned key...turned over as normal, started to fire, let off key as I normally do when it begins to fire, but did not start....not unusual, as sometimes it does this. Turned key again and plently of crank, but no fire. Let it sit for awhile and same thing. Tried it again this morning and same thing. Noticed it did speed up on the cranking somewhat like it was going to perhaps start (wishful thinking here). Never had a problem before. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
Any thoughts.....and can anyone suggest a good scanning tool to purchase so I can check for codes (probably where I should begin). Kinda hard to get the SS anywhere as it's in the garage.

Check Fuel pressure, should be 43PSI+ while cranking.
Pull a spark plug wire and check for spark. if no spark then pull coil wire and check.
