Default Displacement increase, tuning timing

So I don't think many of you guys have actually increased your displacement without changing the heads around or anything like that, but I was wondering if there is some general rule of thumb in regards to the amount of timing a stroker engine will need compared to it's stock form. More or less is pretty much what I am looking for, thanks guys.

Timing may or may not change... but VE will.

For sure the VE will like Cory said. Timing will be more due to compression & rpm changes. I ran stock heads on a 402 with 40* of timing, but it had 11.5:1 comp & a BIG cam with a 750 dbl pumper Holley running pig rich with cold plugs. Red line was 7500.
