Default Help pushing car off cliff???

Anyone want to give me a hand pushing my car off a cliff??? I have never had such a hard time with a car, the headers, the tranny, the freaking tranny mount NOTHING wants to go in easy. Just spent TWO FREAKING hours trying to bleed the damn thing even drilled a damn hole in the floorboard when my helper had to jet. JESUS I had the headers out and in like 4 times, the tranny mount about 10 times. The wrong wiring harness installed the first time before I figured it out. The list just goes on and on

So after all that I'm off to Autozone to buy a mighty vac. Hopefully that works if it doesn't I think I'm just going to get it running again and have it thrown on a flat bed and have the dealer deal with it. The only two shops I trust are an hour away Dealership is down the street (literally) and while I think they are a complete rip off at least they will be familiar with the transmisson.

We'll see if the mighty vac doesn't work I'm not tearing it apart again to bench bleed.....my wife is starting to loose her patience with me!!

Wish me luck!

You're just trying to get in the running for the longest "jack stand queen" title. Forget it dude,,,, pretty sure I got EVERYONE in the PNW Section beat on that one......... 3+ years and counting (literally) lol.....

Have you tried this method with your fancy new bleeder tool??

Oh and,,, good luck buddy. You'll get it sooner or later. I could maybe swing by on Sunday for morale support and maybe even try to dismantle an alternator for ya, or some other electrical device.

I can honestly relate WITH MY VETTE!

It seems that when you start to play with these cars things happen and it becomes such a pain.

I have learned that some of these jobs are just plain and simply a PITA!

Look at swapping out a Corvette clutch for example. You know what I mean.

So stick with it and when it gets rough. Just take a breather............then come back the next day or somthing with a fresh mind. You'll thank yourself later for doing that. And you'll end up with a bad *** ride to boot!

DAMN I hope it doesn't come to that! But if it does it does, I'm settled down a bit now. I'm going to go try the standard mity vac bleed right now. Don't know if I wan't to crank it to 20psi or not I'll try the 10-12 first. Really after this a couple of wires and I'll try starting her.
