Default It Lives - Thanks EJ!

And Mike Lattin!

Yesterday EJ helped me find people that had ATI pullies, and Mike left his family gathering to drive to Monroe to hook me up. FDT members saved my a$$. And I got the car running around 5:00 thanks to Rick & Doug!

Around 11 last night it was tuned thanks to Ellis! Well, as much as it could be. My Hoosiers gave up, so we had to call it good. I guess when they get down to where there is no groove on them, that means the sticky rubber is gone. It was going sideways at 50-70mph.

With any luck I'll dyno it Tuesday and she'll be ready to rock on Friday. I'm hoping for some improvement, like 600 to the tires. The pulley I got is about 3.5", so it was making 12 lbs of boost @ 6k, and as much as 14 @ 6500!

It's still getting just a blip of KR here & there with the timing at 14*, so hopefully the meth kit will finish the deal. Sure felt strong.....when the tires stuck.

Enjoy Mark! I must admit side ways when you stand on it at 70 is not my cup of Tea

I am betting when you get the Meth kit we will be able to get the timing back up and pick up even more power

I bet the front tires come off the ground at launch now! Specially with those skinnies up front, that's gotta be ~50lbs weight savings up front. I can't wait for a ride in that baby when she's all dialed in.

Sideways at 70 sounds like fun to me!

Good to hear Mark!

I really got to see this car now! Not that it wasn't a sight before.

Anyways, congrats! It's going to be a great ending to this race season.

OBTW, what ever happened to Ryan? How's his car? He has to be up to something!

I had to go into work, we had a break in and I had to go secure the area. Just changed my wheels and tires for the stockers and my back is shot and barking at me big time. I'm gonna make a call or two and see if I can get something to take care of the pain.

Gonna take a shower now and whatcha guys think about Burgermaster around 3? Might be too late?

I called Mark when I saw you three rolling southbound on HWY9. Looked and sounded mean!

Glad it's all good to go. See you on Friday.

Thanks guys! It certainly feels good to have it running....squealing again. I missed my loose fan belt sound. I couldn't have done it without a bunch of help from friends on here!

I tried installing my LM1 yesterday. It's a lot easier than I thought. Well, it would have been IF I could have gotten my O2 bung loose. I tried liquid wrench, a torch, a cheater bar on the allen wrench.....no joy, it welded itself in place. I guess I'll have to install a new one.

The good news is I played with the tune some more & got the a/f at cruise dialed in. The blower surge is all gone Ellis. Didn't play with the WOT stuff since I don't have traction anymore. I took the wife out for a spin....literally....and she said "it's pulls pretty hard". You guys know what it means when the wife notices.

I'm hoping to get the new tires on this afternoon & get some new #s tomorrow.
