Cage update!!!
Well I talked with wolfe and they have the materials to build my cage.........FINALLY!
So they said they should be able to get it into powder coat by the middle of next week, which means IF they get things done on time I should have a cage on my door step early september.
And if all works accordingly, I may be able to get the cage in before the next CCC race.
I may just be able to get a LEGAL 10 second time slip this year.

We may be able to find a better way to do it though. They will still charge me the whole price if I tell them not to powder coat it.

You may want to check this post just in case and be clear with them on your order:

It is always frustrating waiting for that crucial piece of equipment. As far as the roll cage goes, my opinion is that if you purchase a bolt-in cage and want to weld the floor mount locations later on, you can. You simply weld around the plate that houses the bolts. I have been following this thread, as I have been planning to purchase a Wolfe cage for my mustang. If they don't finish strong with your order, I may look elsewhere!

Okay, so here is the deal! I talked to Wolfe and told them that I heard/read on this site about some problems. The cage is being built as I type this and when I asked them to confirm the order...........it was dead on! Even the change in the order was correct!
So in my personal opinion, I think they are doing the best they can! I think they should have called there customers and told them about the lack of materials, but hey.........we are all human! If I was them, I would have gone with another suplier for materials.
Anyway, I will post up about the entire experience from order to after the install to hopefully help others.

Jon, that would help other members a great deal, exactly as you just posted. They are busy and materials are iffy sometimes on deliveries for just about any manufacturer this year, letting customers know would be nice.
Did you get an anticipated delivery date? Hope it soon so you can run legal without getting the boot
