My car is for sale - not in a hurry though.
Well the time has come. I simply don't have enough time to drive this car anymore. My life is very hectic with my small business and after my wife went through a 10 hour surgery that was supposed to have lasted just 3 and after a month is still dealing with complications I needed to put things in perspective.
I am not in a financial jam by any means, so I am not in a hurry to sell. It's just that since the day I had finished my mods (thanks Ellis!) I only enjoyed this car once at the Pacific Raceways and I parked it since and I only drove it again 5 or 6 times. The car has now 47-48K miles.
I don't have an asking price, but I'm thinking on the 21-23K realm as the trading in value at dealers is around $15,700 and the Sunset Orange is hard to find.
I won't list the mods here, I have the car website for that
PM me if you or anyone you know is interested.

Nick! WTF! Wow, sorry to see her go. Hope your wife has a full recovery.
It's sure a beauty of a car. I wish I had the spare cash.
If you don't need the cash, think about it for a while, you might change your mind?

And thanks everyone for the good thoughts for the wife. She had this big ulcer and they had to reconstruct part of her stomach and now she's at home with two drains and a feeding tube poking out of her belly...
My task has been keeping her alive and pain free by shoving 1,400-1,500 calories and painkillers through that tube every day for a month now. On the bright side at least she can't taste anything She won't be able to eat or drink until the stomach is completelly healed. It's taking longer because she had an infection that now is under control.

Man, Nick. I love that car, too. If I had the cash I would buy it for a track car and keep the convertible for a show car.
All my best to your wife. I know how hard it is to deal with the feeding tube thing. My mom had one for the last couple months of her life (for a much different reason, don't be alarmed). And even the nurses said it was better that she could not taste the stuff they were putting into the tube sometimes.

Thanks guys for all the kind words. She's improving veeeeeeeeery slowly every day but she still runs completely out of energy just by taking a shower. At least she's moving a bit so her lungs won't suffer again (she had a partial lung collapse 2 days after the surgery).
As for the car, hate to see it go too... If you guys can please spread the news about this sale, every little bit of buzz helps

Hey thanks man! My wife is going in for an upper GI test on the 9th - hopefuly everything will be healed and she can start drinking water and eating some soft foods. This whole feeding tube thing just plain sucks, not just for her but for me too not to mention the drains poking out of her belly, it's bizarre!
So just to decompress I went to check out the new Lexus LS-460.... damn that is a sweet car. I shouldn't have but I test drove one and the damn luxury bug is back inside me again. **** ......... I can't!! I can't!!
