Default Best LS1 tuner in the NW?

Are there any really good LS1 tuners in the NW? I need an expert with a dyno and extensive knowledge of EFIlive or HP Tuner to performance a perfect tune on my machine! Suggestions?

If you're in the Puget Sound area it's Ellis (Twofast4lv on this board). He's in Monroe.

Another vote for Ellis......I also have HEARD (no personal experience) that tjwong rocks in the Oregon (IIRC) area. Can't go wrong with either as far as I am concerned/have read/heard/etc.

That is an open ended question, but if you're looking for a "dyno tune", it's hard to beat Tom Wong "TJWong" on this board. He's located in Vancouver, WA, and has a dyno in his shop. He caters to the LSx engines, but also tunes high-end stand alone FI systems.

Ellis is good at what he does also, but I'm not sure if he has a dyno or not. ?

I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

Nope no Dyno here. If you 'need' a dyno you should see Tom

I've heard good things about TJ....aint been to his shop yet tho. Ellis tunes my car. We do all of the street tuning to get it dialed in & then take it to a dyno to get the WOT stuff tweaked. Either of them would be a great choice.....stay away from Blood Ent!

Well, unless you need an engine rebuild, cause when they are done tuning, you will have to rebuild. STAY AWAY

Thanks for all the info guys! TJ sounds like a simple one-stop-shop. With Ellis is it possible to to some road tuning and then rent some dyno time all on the same day?

I'm sure Ellis could schedule it all and get it done in a day or half day or what ever it takes. You just need to call him or pm him and make arraingements. Or pm TJwong and talk to him. I've had both work on my car and would use who ever is available between the two. Tom's shop is a lot closer to me but my car has been to Ellis shop as well. Very happy with both of them.
