Default I got my baby back, baby back, baby back........but not from Chillis'

I got my Vette back from Ellis today. Its feeling pretty strong. Had to have the clutch rebuilt from the past season and a half of hard launching and slipping the clutch too much.....

Well maybe now with the nitrous and fixed clutch I can finally get away from these pesky 11's and into the 10's.

I've got a couple minor projects before I will race her, but she is real close to being ready. I need to install my wideband commander, and possibly fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauges (if I can scrounge the funds up), and finally fine tune the wet shot so its hitting just right in the A/F............and then she'll be out in seek of the elusive 10 second time slip.

Cool man I'm getting a new clutch too, mine's at TTi getting fixed up. Also getting the DTE rear diff brace and hardened axle, and a couple more psi of boost. I better make my passes count as I will be getting kicked for no rollbar...

I know.....LOL! I slowed down after I saw the cop shop. All I was doing was warming the tires up for the ride home.

That sounds awesome man!!! Those extra pounds of boost are sure to put you into the 10's with a good launch.

Sounds like I'm gonna have to up the jetting on my nitrous.

What did you have done to it? I don't remember hearing anything about you sending your blower off or anything like that.

It ingested somethig last year during it's maiden dyno tune after being enlarged to a D series. I finally sent it in for a new impeller. Hopefully I'll pick up the 2 lbs of boost it lost from that. I aslo bought a new airbox / plenum for the car show.

Great news, Jon, game on. Your 10x slip is just around the corner, no doubt. We have a new Z06 bonestock record-10.5 on a dry hit, that's my goal to reclaim the #1 spot. If ya need a hand on installing your WB/gauges let me know.

Allright, another 10.x vette. Which clutch did you go with? You know Chris, the bolt in Roll bar Jon and I used is easily removable for future car sales?

We'll see you guys at the track soon. Mark and his Z06 will be poking around the low 11's high 10's area also, as soon as he gets some tires. It's going to be a great year. Now, when Perry shows up in his 427...

Show off. Yea it looks as though you and Ryan will be the guys battling for #1; and likely Don if he gets his car done? oh, and Mark, didn't he say he was shooting for 9's? Maybe we can get a few vettes into the top 10?

I wouldn't mind running 9's. I'm just not ready to go through the *** pain of installing a full weld in roll cage........not to mention I'd have to forge my motor before I could safely go there.

All you guys running 9's or knocking on 9's door have built motors. All our Vettes (except for Perry) have stock bottom ends.

We need to get some built motors in our Vettes so we can step up to you guys!
