i second the idea of the base of an old cb antenna used to have one on my buick century till the antenna broke off in some parking lot

No tennis ball nearby, couldn't be an antenna base.
I think its the blinker fluid cap.

Well whatever it is doesnt matter. I figured out what the horrid noise was... There is a skidplate that is connected to the subframe connector, and all it was was me scraping a high point in the asphault.. I accidentally did it again this morning. On a good note when I did my fuel filter nothing was broken, just some new scrapes.

Skid plate? Are you referrring to the bottom part of the drive shaft loop? Mine hits everything....

well maybe if u drove some what normal over the speed bumps it would not hit. so chris when are u giving me the car again? lol.
