Oh man...of all the people Darrin, this just doesn't seem right. You were obviously close to your parents and Dad of course.
One thing comes to mind that isn't helpful to you now - he knows you got married to a great gal and have a family. I'll bet he was busting with pride so there is that to hang on to.
So damn sorry to hear of it, best thoughts for you and the family for a long time to come.

I can relate to what you are facing, went through it myself, but it's been about 32 years ago. Still fresh in mind though. I am praying for you and your family.
