2009 Corvette SS/ZR-1/Blue Devil/whatever it is...

Here is a link to the latest spy shots of the new Vette. Check out the brakes. Ceramic like the uber high end exotics. Basically at this point with a reputed 650 HP, massive brakes and even lighter weight than the current Z06 it's GAME OVER for the competition. Everybody go home, toss the keys in the drawer. This car is going to rape everyone out there at a fraction of the price. Just my humble opinion.

just thinking out loud here:
Wouldn't it be neat if the factory would incorporate a roll cage into cars of this caliber so that it was integrated nicely so you don't have to cut up your $100k sports car to go race it.
I know not everyone who buys a car like this is going to race it, but a lot will. Plus it would add to the safety of the car. I know if I bought this car, I'd be racing it.

Just the other day my wife and I were discussing getting a new pickup (07 classic....100k mile warranty). Basically we decided not too because it the additional cost wasn't worth it (they're offering some good discounts on the "classic" silverados plus all the money off from my GM card I could have gotten a pretty good price) I mean I've had a few cars with warranties and the crap they fixed would have cost a total of $500 maybe. Not to mention you have to hassle with scheduling it, messing with a loaner car, or how to get from a to b while sharing a car, and then it taking longer than they said.
I'd rather just do the work myself.
