Good eye. They have been out in full force these last few sunny days. Keep an eye out for plate number 733-wsp(early model gold crown vic.), he almost created an accident today on I-5 after he cut another driver off.

There's a navy blue Dodge Magnum running around in the Bellevue-Factoria area, also.

I saw some sort of mid to small size goldish color WSP patrol on 512 in Puyallup. Couldn't get close to see the make (had a car pulled over), but you sure would never guess it was the state patrol.

Little hint......most of the State Patrol cars end in WSP (Washington State Patrol). Even the unmarked cruisers........only the undercover & older cars dont.
The older cruisers have the typical "Exempt" plates if I recall correctly.

You recall correct!

Also the newer staters have SP instead of WSP on their tags.

Well recently a guy from Vancouver got a ticket from a Washington State Patrol car just outside of Longview that had switched to Oregon plates on his patrol car! The cop didn't even get a reprimand, his boss said he was being 'inovative'. We would get our car impounded if we were running around with fake plates. Story here:
