Default What the heck just happend to my car? help please!

so im on my way home and as im rolling to a stop sign i put the car in nuetral and it decides to fall on its face.. so the car is dead, i wait about 10 seconds to try and start the car again.. i barely get it started and right when i try to get the car rolling it dies .. again.. so this time i wait a few seconds more, and the car just does NOT want to start. I finally get it started and im holding the gas around 2000 rpms, and the car just doest not want to find an idle, after a good 30 seconds of playing with the throttle it finds its idle and i begin to turn right and no more then 20 feet the car just starts bucking INTENSELY and the car shakes and then i hear a loud *POP* and the car is dead. so i try to start the car a couple more times and it just will not start over. long story short, i get my father to pick me up because (im an idiot) i locked the keys in the car, we drive 2 min away to my house, come back and i try to start the car one final time and like it never happend it starts perfectly..... what the hell? anyone have any ideas?

Any codes? Is this the first time anything like this has happened? It could obviously be a ton of things but It sounds like something that happened to me. My problem happened to be O2 sensors. When you go through your standard checks make sure you add O2 sensors to the list.

Hard to say Joey. If you get a chance and feel comfortable with driving it stop by tomorrow and we can look it over and scan it.

well after i filled it up it hasnt hiccuped once.. its driving around just like its always been.. im realllllllly realllllly hoping it was just some bad gas it was picking up. this was under a 1/4 tank when it happend.. but my wideband is acting funny, could it have possibly fouled the sensor or something?

under 1/4 tank and the cold weather could be water/condensation in the fuel, it's an issue in cold weather states from what I remember

I'd probably still take it by Ellis and have him check it. Sucks to be stranded somewhere.

Put some Heat in there. It will help evaporat any water, that might be in it.
