I am watching the news and something struck me as funny.

The snow parks around Snoqualmie Pass are closed.... because of too much snow.

a few years ago, mt baker closed due to too much snow.... the lifts were dragging through it... they had a 350 inch base (~30 ft)

It is kind of amusing since a few years ago they could not open because there was not enough snow.

That, and I have never liked skiing/snowboarding.

I was up on Stevens pass friday night with the WSP. We were working from the summit to just east of Index. I have lived here most of my life and I have never seen that much snow up there and it was icy as hell also. Jack knifed trucks, trucks trying to go over without chains, lots-o-fun!

Expect major flooding if we get a couple of warm days in the srping time. It will be "lake snohomish" again LOL!

Yep, if people haven't bought flood insurance yet they should. Its going to be a mess everywhere, last time I saw this much snow in 86' it flooded all of Carnation up to Monroe and down to Preston.

Some of those brand new homes that were built in Duvall will have riverfront yards.
