He was beating the crap out of the guy the entire time...If somebody taught him some technique and propper style he would be dominate...Other guy took it and pulled it out in the end..gotta give him props

It was a rookie mistake. Couple of tune up fights and Lesner will be a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah I can't believe it went down like that! He was pounding that guy, then he stuck his foot up Brock's shorts! I think Brock was like WTF and the next thing he knew he got locked up.

It is weird because Brock is a NCAA Division 1 champ and you hardly ever see wrestlers give up their ankles.

I think he will do very well with some more experience. I heard the WWF guy won - true?

Hahahahaha. That is a clear case of losing even though you won. Love to see how puffed up his face is tomorrow. It wont take Lesnar long to figure it out.

Mir's face probably feels like hammered dog **** today. Rokkie mistake on Lesners part though. Mir has a VERY solid jits game and going to the ground wth him is a mistake. Lesnar should have backed off and played stand up the whole time till he put him to sleep.

Lesnar still showed his college wrestling though. Mir game him his back and Lesnar spun on him rather than going for a guillatine or putting the hooks in for a RNC. Like menitoned before. Couple tune up fights and he is going to be dangerous.

Awesome fight, but showed that Lesnar has the ability and not the experience. Anyone else notice the fights were're over pretty quickly Saturday night? A good number of first round tap outs and knock outs.

I disagree. If there was no tap rule, Mir would have destroyed the ligaments in his knee. I'd rather have a swollen face with a minor cut than a destroyed knee that would take multiple surgeries worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair.

Of course the lock won and if allowed to continue would have destroyed his joint. Thank you for pointing out the obvious.

The point was Lesnar pounded his face and if not for inexperience he wins that fight convincingly. He total dominated that guy and then got caught with a submision. It wasnt going to be even close unit that point. My guess is Lesnar feels fine except for the embarasment, maybe a few sore knuckles while the winner is taking pain killers by the dozen and having has his face packed in ice. Sipping soup as it hurts to much to chew.
I'm much rather be Lesner here. IF he continues to beat the hell out of people and lose to something cheap like that it will be a riot. Love to see someone try and choke him out. He has no neck.

So now submission holds are "cheap" victories?

I refuse to argue with an idiot. See ya.

So why the hell did they stop Lesner when he was first pounding the **** of the guy? Letting the guy get up and start over, am I missing something? Didn't look like a stalemate to me. Lesner won In my book, because of giving the other guy a second chance.

Because he was hitting the guy in the back of the head, thats why they stopped it, and deducted 1 point. Yeah it is bullshit, cause no warning was givin, and usually they warn a couple times. But In a since the ref kinda had good right too. Brocks hands are like Hams. he had to get special gloves made they are that big......

Mir rolled over because he was getting the **** beat out of him. Brock was hitting him so fast he hit in the back of the head as Mir flipped over.

I met Lesnar in real life at a club in Phoenix. I'm a fairly big guy at 6'2" 210. Even though he is roughly the same height as me...he dwarfed the **** out of me. They guy is an ogor physically. Real nice though.

Yeah I know he rolled over, but if you re-watch the fight, he hits him 2 to 3 times in the back of the head. Its fast as hell, but he does. Mir had no chance in hell. Except he got lucky with a submission, well not lucky, but you know wat I mean. lol.
