What were you up to that caused this? On the bright side...when you get your upgrade it'll just be a perfect excuse for more power!

I would order it from Scott from DLS or Eric at Midwest Chassis depending on what you are buying.

If your going 12 bolt Tbryne has them on sale alot.

I just put down 3k on a new Midwest 9inch but I'm pretty sure my DLS rear is sold.

Putting it in the car is pretty easy if your not comfortable with that I'd have Tom at Wongs performance do it for you

What ever you do, DON'T get a Moser 12-bolt, Any other 12-bolt is good. My preference is a 9".

Moser 12-bolts are cast/machined wrong. They whine like no other axle I have ever delt with.

This is my experience with multiple axles. Moser 9"s are fine...

I thought Arron tested this last year and the results were inconclusive? I could be Wrong but I remember it some.

Mine is usually quiet till I bend the gears. We put a set of Stock 3.73s in it and it was as quiet as my stock 2.72 7.5 was untill the N2O passes started. Then again mine is one of the oldest mosers.

I still would not get a 12 bolt again. The gears break to easy(Jimmy's Strange 12 bolt likes to eat gears also)

I would go with a S60 or a custom 9in like Ryan stated.

Put some new fluid in it and some additive I know when I bought it I just got it from the dealer. I had a loud rear end and that helped quite a bit.

If not start thinking of how your going to fix it. Your looking at probably around 700 bucks local to fix anything in a 10 bolt.....

If you plan on any mods I'd do an aftermarket setup. Although the 10bolt can break with stock powered spirited driving. Although I've never personally broke one, alot of friends have...

I have a Moser 9" setup by Danny @ NW Dif & it is VERY quite. It has also had no issues with breaking.....not that I abuse it.

The only issue with a 9" is the floor board mod you have to do for clearance. The torque arm mount is massive & hits the car. There is a pic in my latest thread about progress where you can see the BFH mod I did to my new TA.
