Default Pacific Raceway, 2/17

Hey guys...just thought I'd pass the word on, there are a few TBSS/SSS guys planning to go down for the first potential passes (barring this weather holding out).

Anybody else making the trip? If so, maybe we'll see you there!

You guys should plan on racing CCC this year. That would be a hoot.

Forgive me if this is 100% naive, but you mean the Corvette Club?

There are only a handful of TBSSr's around that know what they are really driving...it seems like a lot of people just wanted the best package on their Trailblazer .

Yeah I'll go out too. I found this link on the Pacific Raceways site, with an hourly weather forecast. There's a sweet spot today between noon and 3pm for perfect conditions. In that window, the temps and sunshine go up, and the humidity goes down. The result will be great air between 0 and -500ft DA.

Sounds like only a couple of us are making it down (and I'm only coming down to tune...not bringing anything to run), but feel free to stop and say hi!

I was planning on go and got everything set on the Vette. That is until Friday, I blew out the #8 cylinder and picked up the piston off the road...

That would be sick...the only other turbo TBSS around is down in Molalla, OR, and he doesn't have it up yet (that I know of...shooting for PIR on 3/6, I think).

Was someone on here running the black CTS-V...I watched it run a 13.14, and it sounded great!

Beautiful weather. Not too crowded. A little disorganized, but I've seen worse. Good traction in late afternoon. I think that just about covers it.

Twas me. My best of the day was 12.89@114...actually my first run. 2nd gear lack of traction is killing me. I need to learn to stay out of the throttle a little. Damn Maggie makes too much torque for these skinny tires.

I would LOVE to but I'm already on my 4th rear differential. Stickier tires = boom!

Tom, have you considered a Kaaz diff? I hear they are very good IRS rear ends. The other option, of course, is to trade in on a new 2009 CTS-V.
