I'd consider it if I could upgrade to the M9 for say $500 not a $1000. Damn good looking rear that M9.

If you're not gonna drag all the time, I would get a built 12 bolt. If you decide on the 9" maybe look at midwest chasis fab 9.

Don't plan on racing it all the time. Just some burnouts here and there.

They might be pretty but 1.04 60ft times don't lie. The old stamped housings work just fine too.

FYI burnouts don't need a bigger rearend, hard launches do

Honestly thats what I love about my 9. I'm not affraid to side step the clutch. I have no fear of hammering it at all.

My 12 bolt has been fine with high 1.4 60's. Actually my 10 bolt had 20+ 1.4's and probably 200 1.5 60's before it started to go. I think the 12 bolt is plenty for most with an auto. I would probably decide based on what tranny you're going to run.

12 bolt = A4 primarily street car
9" = M6 Drive it like you stole it or Auto w/Brake

I have a fab 9, it is overkill but that is the way I like to do things if time and money allow.

Shoot a pm to Amber at SixSpeeds Inc or Vince at FLT, they both can steer you in the right direction. They take everything you have now and what you plan to do in account then where to get what you need

Though there is a certain local member who posted that might be able to get and install a F9....
