Default Front-End 6ft in Air!

Not what you thought!

Just in case you don't troll the drag race section, here is my custom aluminum front support. 10lbs total, 20 with radiator. A nice way to make some room for you turbo guys and lose 50lbs at the same time. Here is a link to the thread in the drag section...

If you are serious about losing weight off the car, you can use a Pro Mod "V Battery". Its a 16V system, but has a post for 12V as well. Typical Optima/Turbostart/DieHard is roughly 38-55lbs. The V Battery is 9-13 depending on the model. Lithium Ion Cells, and need the charger (maybe in your case the alternator? re configured *slightly* as well.

A friend of mine is a dealer and can get you abit of a break on one, though they aren't real cheap even with a discount...

Does that work with the stock pcm and everything? I don't know anything about the 16 volt setups. I would consider it. As it is I'm planning to use a obyssey pc950 24lbs. Thought about trying the pc680 @ 14lbs but I'm not sure I trust it in the trunk.

The stock PCM would probably get fragged on the 16V system, Big Stuff, DFI etc run just fine, along with Fuel Pumps, starters, etc (better actually). Like I said it has a 12V post too.

I assume you still have the alternator (Get rid of it and lose some more weight ), they have this one:

If you see something interesting give my buddy Todd a call, and tell him I told you he'd take good care of ya. www.ToddHoernerRacing.com
