Default Lose Weight Now - Sawzal Diet

Since everyone is updating on their projects, I thought I'd do the same. I put the Deuce on a diet and so far I have removed a little over 300 lbs from the nose. Even after adding the cage and the new suspension, I should net over 200 lbs!

These two pieces weighed right at 145 each and with the steering box and the misc. hardware, that's what it adds up to.

I'm putting in a strut front end and a cage so I'll be legal to 8.50. All I'll need is a flexplate shield.

While I was at it I decided to do the "Maid Mod" to the shop and clean up a little.

Damn Don, is that YOUR shop? Those must be pics of right after we drywalled, right?

Oh, the "minor mod" to the car looks good too. 8.50's must mean you are doing the rear frame parts too, eh?

Holy ****! How long did the maid work on that?

Thought this might be a "lopped my finger off" thread at first.

The Duece is going to be flying this season. Looks good Don!

Too damn long! IT's much nicer working in an environment that's clean - or at least picked up. I just hope I can keep it that way for a while.

Those work benches, with the Blue and Black Vise on them We had those at my last two commands. They were bolted to the floor that way when the shipped rolled they would stay put, But we put those things threw hell and back, and they were still rock solid...

I would recomend the pro street front kit Don. So the question is are you doing the back half of the car? That thing was light enough before! As for the blocks just buy a motown or dart. The GM stuff is decent but you get better main caps on the aftermarket stuff.

Ellis, I know you aren't using the intake, and I don't think you're putting it in the garbage just to spite me, so that leaves only one option selling it to me. You need to clean up and make room in the shop anyways....

I agree with Arron. Just go Lil' M and don't look back.

If you're talking about the Hogan's 18* manifold, it's already spoken for.

I already have the Strange stuff so that's what's going on it.
