Default Paint shop recommendation

I'm going to start looking for a place to have my 68 C10 painted. All of the rust repair will be done. It will need a little body work on the lower part of the bedside fenders, priming/filler, block sanding and then a total repaint (disassembled, interior, etc). I'm looking for a show quality paint job here.

So if someone has some experience with a good paint shop let me know.

Yeah,
Richardson's Custom Automotive in Hoquiam.
The guy is a body and paint Wizard, and that's a fact.

I have had D&L Restoration in Everett do 3 full paint jobs and a bunch of touch-ups. Every one is still show quality.

This is the latest one our RSSS396 Camaro.

This one was done about 10 years ago.

And the race car that takes a beating and keeps on shining.

both places look like they do good work.

how was it working with them, how long did it take, and did they deliver on time?

D&L is great. They can deliver on almost any schedule. It only takes $$$$.

The Deuce was done in 2 weeks and the RSSS took 5 1/2 years, but that was my issue, not theirs.

heck 5 1/2 weeks isn't bad.

I think my green 72 GMC was at the paint shop for 6-8 weeks, but they had to do a lot of rust repair on the cab. BTW, i've been doing the same type of rust repair on this cab since January, and I'm not half way done.

This shop was pretty good about meeting commitments. They did the entire car for me over a period of 4 years.
Every month we would have a meeting and go over the goals and costs for the
upcoming month.
Yeah, It was expensive but they delivered.
Richardsons was awarded Street Rod Builder of the Year at the Seattle Roadster Show year before last.

Here's a few more pix, all from the same painter and builder.
